Rocktographer Road Trip :: Trash The Dress

On Thursday night all of us Rocktographers (http://www.rockphotoblog.com), jumped in the car and hit the road for the beach. We were meeting an awesome couple, Deidre and Mike, to do a Trash The Dress session. Lana + RJ :: Engagement

Wednesday evening we had Lana and RJ stop by the Exchange District for their engagement session. They also brought their brand new, oh so cute puppy along with them for a few shots. Lana and RJ are getting married next weekend, and we absolutely can’t wait! RJ is a long border, so we can’t wait to get some rockin’ tux skateboard photos!! Picture time!!

Melodie + Eric :: Engagement

Tuesday night we hit the road, and we met with Melodie and Eric for their engagement session at Assiniboine Park. We did a quick tour around the park while all of us frantically swatted Mosquitos. We had a blast working with you guys, and can’t wait for the wedding!! Picture time!!Tonight we’re headed out with the Rocktographers for a super Trash The Dress session up at the lake… that is if it doesn’t rain, so stay tuned Friday for some those shots =)

Lana + Brock :: Engagement

On Monday night we headed down to The Forks Market for an engagement session with Lana and Brock. It was an absolute awesome time working with them, and we cannot wait for the wedding, its going to be incredible. Now for a little back story. Back when I (Jake) was a wee lad, I used to live in Winnipeg, and actually went to elementary school with Brock. We lived about a half block away from each other, and spent many a day playing road hockey, and just acting like little kids. When my family moved away from the city, we eventually lost contact, so it is incredibly awesome to have the opportunity to be shooting Brock’s wedding. Photo Time!!

Sara + Derek :: 06.21.08

Posted in We're Married!

This past Saturday we spent the day with Sara and Derek for their beautiful wedding. They had an outdoor ceremony, which ended literally 3 minutes before it started pouring rain. Thankfully Sara and Derek set aside lots of time for pictures, so it wasn’t the end of the world that we had to stagger our shooting time… grab some shots, hide from the rain, grab some shots, hide from the rain. All in all everyone took the rain in stride and had an awesome time. The day was finished up with a beautiful reception at Larter’s Golf Course in St. Andrews.

We had a blast working with you guys, and we wish you nothing but the best in the future! Photo time!!!
