This will be the last post of 2007! We first want to thank all of our awesome clients for making this year INCREDIBLE! The last 365 days have seen some huge changes, including myself and Jess getting married, booking 41 weddings for 2008, our new office just to name a few… and we could’t have done any of it without the awesome people that hire us to join them on one of the biggest days of their lives. We thank you from the bottom of out hearts for choosing us to be your photographers, and we feel absolutely honored to be part of your lives as well.

Before signing off for the holidays and taking a break we though it might be fun to post a few stats about the last 365 days =)

-Since launching the new kampphotography website at the beginning of February (the current one) we have had 7610 individual people visit our website
-Since launching the new thekamp.com website we have had 5033 individual people visit the site
-In the past year we have received over 2500 emails or 6.9 per day
-In 2007 we shot 24 weddings and booked 41 more for 2008
-In November we booked our first destination wedding
-We officially moved to the first page of the Google search results when searching Winnipeg Wedding Photographers at the beginning of November

Those are just some of the highlights, we could go on about how awesome the year was, but it was awesome because of the people we work with. Again we want to thank all of our past clients, current clients, and future clients. We have become truly blessed and its because of you.

In closing we wish you all a safe and happy holidays, we will be away until January 2nd enjoying a little break as well as shooting a wedding on new years eve.

With the holiday season upon us, next around the corner is Valentines Day! In the past we have been providing boudoir sessions only when asked, but its time to change that with a Valentines day special.

We are now offering boudoir sessions as way to celebrate who you are, and they make a perfect gift for that special someone. Please feel free to contact us for more information! We will be taking bookings for Valentines gifts starting early in the new year. In the past 6 months we have photographed more then 10 different sessions, but because of the nature of the photographs it is hard to publicly display demo images for privacy reasons. The first 5 boudoir sessions booked in 2008 will recieve 25% off any products they order after the session.

Again if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us =) These sessions can be photographed both in the studio or in your own home.

Well that week just seemed to disappear without notice. We have moved into the new office and almost have everything setup. The canvases still need to be hung on the walls, but the furniture is in, and we have already met with a few clients here, its a nice feeling to meet people in an intimate space that is your own. I know I haven’t posted pictures yet, but they will be up later today, we just have some things to finish up before the holiday break

Speaking of holiday breaks, please note that we won’t be around for a little while as of this Sunday (December 23rd) we will be away and unavailable till probably the 2nd of January 2008. We will actually be spending new years eve shooting a wedding with an awesome couple, so stay tuned for those photos after the break.

Welcome to painting day one! The first coat is pretty much up, I had the pleasure of wearing my crazy baggy painting pants (circa 1999) and had an awesome day. It’s so nice seeing it all come together and we can’t wait to see it done! Now to some pictures!

You may also be wondering who the other person is in the final picture, that is Kirsten, she recently graduated from the photography program at Red River and will be joining our awesome Kampphotography team next year! Woo woo!
