Hey there friends =) We are preempting “Ask The Kampers” this week for a special announcement. Its that day of the year, when we get to embrace our inner nerd… its that day where from that point on we rack our brains until the end of the season… That’s right, tonight LOST season 5 starts =) BOOYEAH!

A few days back we headed up to Kildonan Park for a beautiful afternoon engagement session with Candace and Shawn. It was so nice to finally be outside without fearing instant frostbite =) Candace and Shawn are getting married near the end of March, so stay tuned for their wedding photos in a few months =)

This past Saturday we spent the day with Ainsley and Denny for their wedding. The couple was incredible, and had one heck of an awesome wedding party. There are so man photos we could post, that are absolutely hilarious, but we don’t want to embarrass anyone to much =)
The couple had a beautiful ceremony, followed by pictures at the Millennium Center. The rockin’ reception was held at St Boniface Golf Club.
To Ainsley and Denny, thank you so much for letting us share the day with you, your families, and wedding party. You guys are all truly awesome!!

I just had a question about video slideshow software. In the past I’ve used imovie and idvd for slideshows. I work on an Apple computer. I’m curious if you have any other recommendations for video slideshow software that is solid.

Answer – Hey there Liane =) Thank you for your question. In the world o’ Mac there are a few options for creating slideshows. The combination of iMovie / iDvd is one of the easiest, but of course how the slideshows are outputted at slightly limited in terms of transitions etc.
iLife – Apple just released a new version of iLife, which includes the newest version of iPhoto which includes a pile of new slideshow display options which can all be exported for DVD.
Show It Fast - Another very very popular option is Show It Web. Show it Web is extremely popular because not only can you manually time slideshows to your music, you can output the slideshow easily for web. To get a video (DVD) version of the slideshow, there is an additional expense, but it is easy software with great flexibility.
Animoto – For something a little more funky, but with less customization there is a piece of web based software called Animoto. If you purchase a yearly pro account, you have many delivery options including web, mobile video, as well as a download DVD image option.
Fotomagio – If you want full customization, there is also Fotomagico. This software lets you totally customize your slideshow, but it also requires a lot more work, as you need to completely build your slideshow timeline.
